Episode 04: Comic Book Time - Watchmen/Persepolis

After a one-week break, we’re back with our look at one of the most ambitious comic-book film adaptations of all time, Watchmen. And to balance out that big-budget picture, we also take a look at Best Animated Feature nominee Persepolis from 2007. Kevin was excited for Watchmen, while Lita was looking forward to Persepolis. Who will be satisfied? Who will be disappointed? Who will do the movie review? We also take a look at reader mail and comment on the current top 10 films in the box office.

Episode 03: Brooding Men of Action - Taken/The International

We go with a more action-oriented theme this week as Lita was looking forward to checking out Taken while I was hoping to catch The International (now that it’s finally released). So it’s the battle between Clive Owen and Liam Neeson. Who will win? Do we find out that The Good is truly good? or does it also fall in the same pitfalls of The Bad? Enjoy!

Episode 02: Films of Henry Selick - Coraline/Monkeybone

We go more along the lines of what Lita is looking to see this week and head over to the 3D theatre to check out Coraline, the latest Henry Selick feature that’s aiming to keep stop-motion animation alive. And… on the Bad side, we also check out Monkeybone, the Brendan Fraser film that is also an entry in Mr. Selick’s body of work. Do we find out that The Good is truly good? or does it also fall in the same pitfalls of The Bad? Enjoy!
